The Coggs play 100 Goerges Sept 17/18 (fri and sat night) 2004-08-05 Friday night at Cafe Dekcuf was a beautiful blast off to a Coggs rock and roll weekend. Big thanks to the bands Supernal and Casey Comeau and The Halfmilers. Extra special thanks to the great, rowdy crowd. You guys rock! Look for The Coggs in September, 221 Rideau. First thing the next morning (yah right) The Coggs departed to Deep River for a healthy second helping of rock and roll. They played the beautiful outdoor Summerfest stage to an excited and possibly confused crowd of (really rough estimate) about 1500. The show exploded at the end of the set with a face melting solo by the man, Jeff Coghill, leaving the crowd writhing along with him.The whole weekend was a blast for The Coggs and the newly invented "Mos Bes Posse" MB9 for short. And super duper thanks to the Howatts for thier hospitality and love. MB9 loves you too! Look out next year, we'll be back! 2004-07-06 The Coggs play Cafe Dekcuf, Friday July 30. $5, 19+ show. Openers are Casey Comeau and The Halfmilers plus other special guests. They're second in the line up which includes openers Golden Bulldozer and headliners of their CD release party Twelve 34. Tickets are $5, doors open at 8. 2004-05-20 "The Clover"--- Recently The Coggs have become nomads. "The Clover" was the birthplace and has been the home of The Coggs for better than a year. Due to resident relocation our favorite furnace room is unavailable to practice in. We thank the boys: Roy, Jay, Neil, and Marty for the space and all the good times. The band didn't move on to the next round but it was the best crowd we've ever had. If there was a prize for rowdy fans The Coggs won. We lost 5 to bouncers in separate events.. 2004-04-07 The Coggs are in the Emergenza Semi Finals. Sat, May 8/04. Come out and support us! Site is still in it's infancy, but for now we have two songs available in the songs section and a couple pictures scattered around the site.
